Glad Canada brings “Don’t Get Mad, Get Glad” to life at Stackt Market in Toronto

By Sydney Arnold
The Glad Canada team activated our new North American “Don’t Get Mad, Get Glad” campaign with an immersive consumer experience at Toronto’s Stackt Market, Dec. 8-28. The open-air market and creative community hub, which draws thousands of shoppers each week, provided the perfect backdrop for the debut of Glad’s I Love Trash musical number in collaboration with Sesame Street.
Why it matters
Primed for social sharing, the activation brought our new campaign to life in a memorable way, helping consumers connect with Glad through our creative collaboration with Sesame Street featuring Oscar the Grouch.

The big picture
The campaign uses humor and optimism to reinforce how Glad turns messy moments into manageable ones. Highlights from the activation included:
- Social-first experiences: Consumers explored interactive exhibits and social-first, photo-ready spaces designed to feel fun and joyful – turning in-person moments into social media content shared well beyond the event.
- Product sampling through play: Guests sampled products through interactive games designed to reinforce the “Don’t Get Mad, Get Glad” message in a fun, hands-on way.
- Preview celebration: A private event brought together media, influencers and retail partners for an exclusive first look at the activation.
- Influencer amplification: A paid influencer effort continues across Canada with creators sharing content inspired by Glad’s collaboration with Sesame Street.
