The Clorox Company Foundation

Founded in 1980, the mission of The Clorox Company Foundation is to improve the quality of life in communities where Clorox employees live and work. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded cash grants totaling more than $99 million to nonprofit organizations, schools and colleges.

The foundation has focused on supporting programs that serve youth, kindergarten through 12th grade education, and cultural and civic organizations as well as local needs in the communities surrounding our offices and manufacturing facilities in plant communities.

In addition to providing cash grants, Clorox supports the individual actions of our employees by matching their donations of time and money. Although the causes employees choose to support do not necessarily reflect the focus areas of The Clorox Company Foundation, community support has been, and will continue to be, an integral part of our business.
