Clorox received the #2 ranking as the “most mentioned” company on the Green Confidence Index, published annually by GreenBiz.com. We were only outranked by Wal-Mart.


Clorox won the “Visionary Award” from Wal-Mart for Diversity. Clorox was recognized for the work that we do each day to integrate diversity and inclusion into our everyday business. This includes:

  • Working with diverse suppliers
  • Actively participating in employee resource groups
  • Leveraging multicultural marketing and insights
  • Sponsoring professional and community organizations
  • Forming strategic alliances focused on increasing the overall diversity of our talent pool

New Fresh Step cat litter packaging, which now comes in a bag instead of a pail, won the DuPont award for packaging innovation and an Ameristar award.


Burt's Bees received the #1 ranking in the 2010 ImagePower Green Brands Survey.


Clorox was honored as a 2010 Good and Green Showcase Sponsor by the Foreign Policy Association for its Green Works initiative.
