Mr. Michael was the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Albertson's, Inc. (a leading grocery retailer) from February 1991 until his retirement in April 2001. He served as interim President of the University of Idaho from June 2003 until August 2004. Mr. Michael previously served as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco from 1998 to 2000. He is a director of Questar Corporation and Idacorp. Mr. Michael has been a director at Clorox since 2001.
