Mr. Friedman is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Friedman Fleischer & Lowe LLC (a private investment firm). Prior to forming Friedman Fleischer & Lowe in 1997, Mr. Friedman was a founding partner of Hellman & Friedman (a private investment firm) and a managing director of Salomon Brothers, Inc. (an investment bank). He is a director of Mattel, Inc. and previously served as a director for Capital Source and Tempur-Pedic International. He currently serves on the board of Kool Smiles Holding Corp. and is Chairman and a director of Church's Chicken. Mr. Friedman has been a director at Clorox since 1997.
