Donald R. Knauss
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Donald R. “Don” Knauss joined The Clorox Company as chairman and chief executive officer in October 2006. As CEO, he has overall responsibility for directing the company’s worldwide business, which generated revenues of $5.2 billion in fiscal year 2011.
Lawrence S. Peiros
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Lawrence S. “Larry” Peiros was named executive vice president and chief operating officer in March 2011. In this position, he has overall responsibility for all of the company’s businesses. Peiros also oversees the Marketing, Sales, Research & Development and Product Supply functions. He is a member of the company’s executive committee and oversees Clorox’s Eco Office, which is responsible for implementing the company’s global environmental sustainability strategy.
Daniel J. Heinrich
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Dan Heinrich is responsible for Clorox's financial activities, including M&A business development, global business services, finance, accounting, reporting, internal controls, treasury, tax and investor relations. Dan previously also managed Information Technology, Corporate Communications and Risk Management. A certified public accountant with more than 35 years of experience in financial management, he worked for Ernst & Young, the Ford Financial Services group and Transamerica Finance Corporation before joining Clorox in 2001. Dan is the executive sponsor of the company's Asian employee resource group.
Frank A. Tataseo
Executive Vice President — Strategy and Growth, Partnerships, Away From Home and Information Technology
Frank A. Tataseo was named executive vice president — Strategy & Growth, Business Development Partnerships and Away From Home in January 2009. In this role, he oversees enterprise long-range strategy, mergers and acquisitions and business planning, as well as growth planning, partnerships and the company’s Away From Home businesses. He also has responsibility for the company’s information technology function. Tataseo is a member of the company’s executive committee.
Thomas P. Britanik
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Thomas P. “Tom” Britanik was promoted to senior vice president — chief marketing officer and appointed to the company’s executive committee in June 2009. Britanik, who previously held the position of vice president — Marketing since 2008, has global responsibility for Marketing functions, including brand management, personnel staffing and development, consumer insights, advanced analytics, agency management, consumer promotion, digital capabilities, media planning and buying, commercial production and graphic design.
Wayne L. Delker, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer
Wayne L. Delker was promoted to senior vice president — chief innovation officer and appointed to the company’s executive committee in June 2009. Delker, who previously held the title vice president — Global Research & Development since joining Clorox in 1999, serves as the company’s chief technical and innovation executive. He leads worldwide R&D for all of the company’s products, provides technical and scientific guidance within the operating divisions and other staff functions, and oversees the company’s stewardship activities, ensuring the health, safety and environmental aspects of our products. He also leads Clorox’s multifunctional innovation process for developing new products and improving existing products.
Benno Dorer
Senior Vice President - Cleaning Division and Canada
Benno Dorer was named senior vice president — Cleaning Division and Canada in March 2011. In this role, he is responsible for U.S. retail for Laundry (including Clorox® bleach, Clorox 2®) and Home Care (including Clorox® disinfecting wipes, Pine-Sol® cleaners, Formula 409® and Tilex® cleaners and other home care products), as well as the Brita® and Green Works® businesses. Dorer also has responsibility for the Canada business, which is now included in the Cleaning Division as a reporting business unit. He is a member of the company’s executive committee.
Steve Robb
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Stephen M. “Steve” Robb has been promoted to senior vice president — chief financial officer and appointed to the company’s executive committee, effective Nov. 17, 2011. In this role, Robb will be the senior executive responsible for Clorox’s financial activities, including Accounting, Reporting, Internal Controls, Treasury, Tax and Investor Relations.
James Foster
Senior Vice President and Chief Product Supply Officer
James Foster was promoted to senior vice president — chief product supply officer and appointed to the company’s executive committee in June 2009. Foster serves as the company’s senior officer responsible for the global supply chain operations and corporate sustainability.
Jacqueline P. Kane
Senior Vice President - Human Resources and Corporate Affairs
Jacqueline P. “Jackie” Kane joined The Clorox Company in 2004. As senior vice president — Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, she serves as the company’s senior officer responsible for corporate–wide Human Resources, Government Affairs and Community Relations. Kane is a member of the company’s executive committee and serves as a member of the company’s corporate responsibility steering committee.
Grant J. LaMontagne
Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer
Grant J. LaMontagne was promoted to senior vice president — chief customer officer and appointed to the company’s executive committee in June 2009. LaMontagne, who previously held the title vice president — Sales since 2004, has responsibility for the customer organization worldwide. Previously, LaMontagne served as vice president — Specialty Sales with responsibility for the company’s Seasonal, Food, Litter and Auto Care businesses.
George C. Roeth
Senior Vice President - Specialty Division
George C. Roeth was promoted to senior vice president — general manager, Specialty Division, in June 2009 and appointed to the company’s executive committee in February 2009. Roeth, who previously held the title vice president — general manager, Specialty Division since 2007, currently has responsibility for the Burt’s Bees®, Charcoal, Food, Litter and Glad® businesses.
Laura Stein
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Laura Stein serves as senior vice president — general counsel of The Clorox Company, with responsibility for the company’s worldwide legal, ethics and compliance, corporate secretary, corporate communications, crisis management, risk management and internal audit matters. Stein serves on the Clorox executive committee, chairs the Clorox women’s employee resource group, and co-sponsors the company’s social responsibility and enterprise risk management programs, among other responsibilities. She works closely with Clorox’s board of directors on governance matters.
Michael Costello
Vice President and General Manager - International
Michael Costello was named vice president — general manager, International, of The Clorox Company in March 2011. In this role, he has responsibility for the company’s International division, which includes Australia, New Zealand and Africa; Asia; Middle East; Latin America; Europe; and Greater China. Costello is a member of the company’s executive committee.
