Thorough testing helps us provide consumers with accurate instructions, warnings and first-aid statements and helps ensure our products are safe when used as directed.
We're committed to marketing our products in an ethical manner. Our advertising reflects our reputation for quality, integrity and trustworthiness. Claims made in advertisements must be accurate and substantiated. In addition, we do not place advertising on television programs, in print media or on Internet sites that contain gratuitous displays of violence or sex, engage in ethnic or religious slurs or demean human dignity.
We also strive to develop and market our products in an environmentally responsible manner. The lifecycle of our namesake sodium hypochlorite bleach, one of the world's most effective and inexpensive disinfectants, starts and ends with sodium chloride, common table salt. Brita® filters provide great-tasting water without the plastic waste from bottled water. Glad® ForceFlex® trash bags are more effective than our previous Glad® trash bags, yet use more than 1 million pounds less plastic per year. The Kingsford Products Manufacturing Company is an industry leader in environmental controls and sustainability for charcoal manufacturing.
