The Clorox Company Foundation

The mission of The Clorox Company Foundation is to improve the quality of life in communities where Clorox employees live and work. Community involvement is an integral part of our business and is carried out through a program of grant-making, volunteerism and leadership in community service.


The Clorox Company Foundation endorses the Standards of Excellence in Community Relations, developed by the Boston College Center for Corporate Community Relations. The center honored Clorox in March 1998 as the first company to adopt the standards.

Clorox markets many of the best-known retail brands in America, including its namesake bleach and cleaning products, Armor All® and STP® auto care products, Fresh Step® and Scoop Away® cat litters, Kingsford® charcoal briquets, Hidden Valley® and K C Masterpiece® dressings and sauces, Brita® water-filtration systems, and Glad® bags, wraps and containers. The great majority of our brands are either the market leader or a strong second.
