As a member of the Finance and Accounting Development Program, Luisa's job is to have a solid understanding of every key functional area at Clorox. "My function supports every business unit. We're involved in every major business decision", she says.
Luisa's function molds business plans into financial plans and ensures the integrity of corporate financial information presented to Wall Street and shareholders.
On any given day, Luisa, who joined Clorox right out of college, might be spotted leading a committee to manage rotation of employees; partnering with Product Supply managers to prepare financial forecasts.
"I work with a lot of non-financial folks throughout the organization, helping educate them about how to make the best business decisions possible."
