For more than 25 years, the Clorox Finance organization has focused on developing college and experienced hires through on-the-job training, as well as internal and external development programs. Our employees are given the opportunity to build the skills necessary to deliver solid business results for the company. In fact, our commitment is so strong that we require everyone within Finance to take 40 hours of training each year. Recognizing the value of technical expertise, we also encourage employees to pursue professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA).
Individual learning plans may include the following:
- On-the-job (e.g., individual and work groups)
- e-Learning
- In-house technical and business skills training
- External training
In addition, top performers may be eligible to join the Finance Accelerated Leadership Forum, which prepares participants for leadership roles within the organization. The objective of this group is to develop a steady succession of high-caliber Finance leaders by ensuring top talent is recognized and offered intensive leadership training. This training is designed to coach our Finance employees to deliver superior financial results through their ability to drive insight to action, and successfully motivate and inspire people.
Participants are assigned a senior leader mentor to assist them in career development. |
