| Before she joined the company, a recruiter told her that Clorox was the best company in the Bay Area for Finance generalists. “After I heard that, Clorox became my employer of choice. Now that I’ve been here six years, I can tell you it’s true. Every job I’ve had here has been challenging and interesting. My managers have been knowledgeable and good about taking time to help develop and shape my career.”
How does a person make a mark in the Clorox Finance department? “It’s not enough to say what the number is. You have to understand why it is what it is and what levers could be pulled in the future to improve it. My message to anyone joining Clorox is: figure out how to improve your team’s daily life so that everyone benefits.”
As for what Gabriele likes most about working at Clorox, she says, “We’re a relatively large company, but working here feels like working at a smaller company where everyone knows everyone by name and there’s a lot of cross-functional collaboration. People who come to Clorox often stay for a long time. We’re a nice group of people.”
